All I Want for Christmas

The idea of a she elf, presented or being presented for Christmas in this image works very well. Her pose and expression leave much to the viewers imagination and I like composition of the red silk rug and fire (artificial or otherwise) in the background.

Whilst there have been many similar scenes, I think this is a fresh and original take, especially given her slightly ambiguous demeanour.

Your technique is excellent, from the slight sheen of moisture on her skin, the lighting from both the fire and the natural light from the unseen window/door to her left and the depth of field. The textures work very well also. The only slight criticism I would point out would be her earrings which don't hang naturally downwards.

Overall, to my eyes, the impact is very good and conveys a range of emotions. As a single image it is both provocative and thoughtful. Nice work!
